To miss or not to miss?
Manny is gone. Good or Bad? I am not sure yet. Thank you Manny for all the good times, like the two world series rings, but good ridance to a player who does not show up to work everyday. Thanks for the home runs, but good bye to lack of hustle and watching homers fly even if they are not homers. Thanks for the RBI’s but adios to the club house disturbance. Thanks for fighting the Yankees, but good bye to fighting Youk and Jack. Good bye to the excitement that you brought but you are someone elses headache now.
I am still stuck on whether the Manny deal was a good one. Good Luck in Dodger blue, but for the most part I wont miss your antics.
Now we have Jason Bay, a great player and a big team player. I am a little upset to see Moss leave but he will develop well in Pittsburgh and at least there, he has no way of hurting us. As far as Hansen leaving us, thank god! They guy couldn’t hit a strike zone made for a cow. And if he did the pitch would be over the left field wall.
I was at Manny’s last game in a Sox uniform. I could not bring myself to boo him, yet I also could not cheer him. From a front office and clubhouse standpoint, I think Manny needed to go. I am just not sure if I wanted him to go. I do like what we got in return, just wish we got more.
In the end it was fun to love Manny, and even more fun to hate him. Hey, at least he is not a Yankee, I hate you Johnny Damon!
